- 1 cup milk

- 2 tbsp grated dry coconut
- Ghee or oil for deep frying Malpua
- For sugar syrup..
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 tsp saffron strands
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

- Firstly for sugar syrup, in a pan add sugar, water, saffron and cardamom. Cook it in low-medium flame for 10-15 minutes or until it turn sticky. Keep it aside.
- In a grinding jar add banana, suji flour, mawa, ghee, sugar, milk, cardamom, coconut and fennel seeds, grind till smooth. We need pouring consistency batter. Add more milk if required. Keep the batter aside for 20-30 minutes.
